These terms explain acceptable use of CEFR Tales as an English reading-practice platform supported by teachers, parents and schools.

Educational purpose

CEFR Tales provides AI-assisted reading practice, vocabulary support and comprehension questions. It is not a substitute for professional teaching, safeguarding, legal or psychological advice.

Acceptable use

Users must provide age-appropriate, lawful and original inputs.

Users must not request harmful content, personal data collection, copyrighted characters, protected franchises, brand imitations, celebrity/public-figure stories, song lyrics or copied passages from books, films, games or shows.

Generated content

Stories are generated with AI and may contain mistakes. A responsible adult, teacher or account owner should review content before classroom, commercial or public use.

Users are responsible for checking whether generated content is suitable, original and compliant with their local rules before sharing or publishing it.

Intellectual property

The platform name, interface, code and service design belong to the project owner or licensed contributors.

Users must not use third-party characters, trademarks, protected fictional universes or recognizable franchise elements in prompts or generated materials.

Trademark clearance

Before public launch, obtain a trademark search from a qualified trademark attorney/agent in the target markets. Do not rely only on app-store, domain or search-engine availability.
